Tim McGraw Set to Star in New Movie with Gwyneth Paltrow

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim McGraw, Garrett Hedlund and Leighton Meester will star in the upcoming drama, ”Love Don’t Let Me Down,” with production set to begin in this month in Nashville.
The magazine says Hedlund will play ”a young rising singer-songwriter who becomes involved with a fallen country singer played by Paltrow. They embark on a career resurrection tour with her husband-manager (McGraw) and a beauty queen-turned-singer (Meester). Romantic entanglements and old demons threaten to derail them all.”
This will be the second project for Tim – who’s getting rave reviews in his current flick, “The Blind Side” — and Hedlund. Previously they starred in “Friday Night Lights” as father and son. And, to continue the “it’s a small world” theme, Tim has often cited Paltrow’s husband’s band, Coldplay, as one of his favorites.
Following filming, Tim is launching a tour on February 6th.
